Funding Mediate Your Life's Expansion
A Vision That Has Guided 25 Years
Twenty years ago, a vision came to me that has never left:
I am looking out over a vast, open-air courtyard filled with people in groups of three practicing with conflict situations, with deep empathy and finding solution together in the power of the three chairs. The whole courtyard is full of joy, connection, and aliveness.
This vision to me represents something I believe is genuinely possible: a critical mass of humanity learning to meet even the most difficult conflicts from what I call "3rd Chair" awareness and presence — empathic understanding, unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and a calm, regulated, and connected nervous system.

The Ask
I’m asking for funding to expand the impact and contribution of the Mediate Your Life organization and 3Chair model in the world in these rapidly changing times. I’m looking for funding of $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 or more.
What Has Been Built
This is a chance to fund a mature body of work, proven over decades, and ready to scale, not a program seeking to discover something new or hoping it will work. We have accomplished:
- The development of a highly effective and reliable process of mediation and conflict coaching
- Two decades of international training programs in mediation, conflict coaching, and personal development reaching many thousands of people in life changing ways
- Training programs in the U.S., Europe (Poland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands), and Asia (South Korea, China, Taiwan)
- A growing body of MYL certified practitioners worldwide
- MYL trainer mentorship and apprenticeship program
- MYL podcast, books, and app
- A universal 3Chair practice that can be shared without formal training — designed for organic spread through individuals in their communities and organizations
Your Contribution Will Support
- Increasing enrollment in the professional and personal development international training programs
- Growing the cohort of MYL certified trainers that I mentor around the world, and support them to mentor others, creating an exponentially expanding circle of people who embody and share and co-evolve the work
- Making the work financially accessible to all who want it worldwide regardless of resources
- Coordinating a global community of practice and peer support
- Collaborating with other resonant organizations and bodies of work
- Updating and expanding the MYL app and other learning resources and materials

Bringing the work directly to large audiences and to people and organizations with influence — through live events, keynotes, cultivation gatherings, and one-on-one conversations with additional partners and funders. - Creating New Materials
Written, audio, and video resources that give the 3Chairs model wider reach — including updated training curricula, accessible introductory content, and materials that support practitioners in sharing the work in their own lives and communities. - Mentoring a Growing Cohort of MYL Trainers
Significantly expanding the number of MYL trainers I personally mentor, and supporting them to mentor others — creating an exponentially expanding circle of people who can steward and co-evolve the work in their own authentic ways, beyond me.
