Enhancing Leadership and Performance Through Conflict Mediation Practice
John provides training in a process that develops leadership and performance through a three-person mediation practice structure, process, and use of awareness and language skills to move through conflict situations. Conflict becomes an opportunity to grow and enhance leadership capacities and abilities in self-connection, understanding across differences, collaboration, and innovation through the process.
John's MYL model provides people in organizations with ways to use the creative power of conflict to develop leadership capacities and abilities for new possibilities to emerge of wellbeing, performance, growth, and evolution. The approach integrates empathic communication, a mediation framework, mindfulness, and neuroscience.
The Process creates a leadership space for learning to experience understanding, connection, clarity, and new possibilities for action through talking about the challenges affecting and impacting them. The process is rooted in the MYL 3Chair Model for relating to conflict from perspectives of I-You-We and levels of awareness. The space builds community connection as well as skills for navigating and transforming conflict into collaboration and emergent ideas for solutions.
